Hey there. I’ve had the great pleasure of being a stylist for five years now. My passion for hair started when I was young, but I can’t say it’s something I always knew I would do. Instead, it was an interest that grew. I was raised in a family of six kids. my salon experience often included sitting on a stool on the back porch – or on two experimental occasions in family friend’s kitchen getting a perm! my Mom had curly hair and didn’t know exactly what to do with my straight hair. As I got older my own curls emerged – just in time for curls to be “out of style” When I turned fourteen, I had one of my first big salon experiences. I looked for hours trying to find the perfect cut. When I sat in the salon chair, I underwent a transformation. my hair was cut off into a cute and edgy bob which I straightened every day. After that experience, I held my head up a little higher and couldn’t stop looking in the mirror! that’s the kind of experience I wanted to be able to give people.

I strive for all my clients to feel heard when it comes to concerns and goals surrounding their hair. Our Hair is a huge part of how we present ourselves to the world and I don’t take that lightly. I’ve had my own journey navigating and embracing my own wavy locks which has given me a very special place in my heart for my curly girls.

Regardless of hair texture, I enjoy crafting styles which not only complement my client’s features but also fits their lifestyle and encourages them to hold their head up a little higher.

When I’m not in the salon you can find me at the park with my daughter, browsing through Target, exploring nature, curled up with my two needy cats reading a good book, or relaxing on the couch with my hubby diving into a good TV show.
